Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Weak

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on soft demand. May delivery down Rs 15 to Rs 3,494/quintal. Analysts cite subdued market trend.
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday fell Rs 15 to Rs 3,494 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded lower by Rs 15, or 0.43 per cent, to Rs 3,494 per quintal with an open interest of 53,950 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
