Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Weakens

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on soft demand. Prices down Rs 9 to Rs 3,451/quintal. Weak spot market trends weigh on prices.
New Delhi, Jan 30 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday fell Rs 9 to Rs 3,451 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded lower by Rs 9 or 0.26 per cent at Rs 3,451 per quintal with an open interest of 47,830 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices. PTI DR DR ANU
