Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Weakens

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall Rs 42 to Rs 3,335/quintal on weak demand. March delivery down 1.28%. Analysts cite sell-off amid subdued market.
New Delhi, Feb 10 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 42 to Rs 3,335 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded lower by Rs 42, or 1.28 per cent, to Rs 3,335 per quintal with an open interest of 47,060 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
