Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Weakens

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on soft demand. May delivery down Rs 12 to Rs 3,595/quintal. Weak spot market trends weigh.

New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday fell Rs 12 to Rs 3,595 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded lower by Rs 12, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 3,595 per quintal with an open interest of 18,540 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
