New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) The government on Friday announced it would remove the value limit per consignment for exports through courier service from April 1 this year.
Earlier, the limit was Rs 10 lakh per consignment.
The move is expected to support small exporters and e-commerce-led shipments.
"The value limit per consignment for exports through courier service shall stand withdrawn with effect from April 01, 2026," the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.
In the Budget, the government has announced the complete removal of the value cap of Rs 10 lakh per consignment on courier exports.
Earlier, the limit was Rs 10 lakh per consignment.
The move is expected to support small exporters and e-commerce-led shipments.
