Crude Oil Futures Ease Amid Weak Global Cues

Crude oil futures slipped to Rs 5,469 per barrel due to weak global demand. West Texas Intermediate and Brent Crude also saw marginal declines.

New Delhi, Jun 9 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Monday marginally slipped to Rs 5,469 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions tracking weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery declined Re 1 or 0.02 per cent to Rs 5,469 per barrel in 6,210 lots.
Analysts said the prices were affected following participants offloading their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.06 per cent lower at USD 64.54 per barrel, while Brent Crude marginally fell 0.08 to USD 66.42 per barrel in New York.
