Crude Oil Futures Fall Amid Weak Global Trends

Crude oil futures dropped on MCX by Rs 41 to Rs 8,380 per barrel due to weak global trends and demand. WTI & Brent crude also saw declines.

New Delhi, Jun 10 (PTI) Crude oil price fell by Rs 41 to Rs 8,380 per barrel in the futures trade on Wednesday amid weak global trends.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil futures for June delivery slipped by Rs 41, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 8,380 per barrel in a business turnover of 8,188 lots.
Analysts said the prices fell after participants offloaded their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.25 per cent lower at USD 87.98 per barrel, while Brent Crude fell 0.24 per cent to USD 91.23 per barrel in New York.
