Crude Oil Futures Fall on Global Cues

Crude oil futures decline to Rs 5,975/barrel on weak global cues. Participants offload holdings amid soft spot market demand.

New Delhi, Feb 26 (PTI) Crude oil prices fell Rs 14 to Rs 5,975 per barrel in the futures trade on Thursday, amid global uncertainties.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil futures for March delivery slipped by Rs 14, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 5,975 per barrel in a business turnover of 1,045 lots.
Analysts said the prices fell after participants offloaded their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.32 per cent lower at USD 65.63 per barrel, while Brent Crude fell 0.35 per cent to USD 71.09 per barrel in New York. PTI DR DR ANU
