Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Crude oil futures declined on Thursday due to weak demand, with MCX crude oil futures for December delivery trading at Rs 5,827 per barrel. WTI and Brent crude also saw slight losses.

New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday decreased Rs 21 to Rs 5,827 per barrel in futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded lower by Rs 21 or 0.36 per cent at Rs 5,827 per barrel in 9,844 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.03 per cent lower at USD 68.56 per barrel while Brent crude was trading flat at USD 72.31 per barrel in New York.
