Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Crude oil futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell on Thursday due to weak demand, while global crude prices saw mixed movements.

New Delhi, Dec 19 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday fell Rs 34 to Rs 5,955 per barrel in futures trade, as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery traded lower by Rs 34 or 0.57 per cent at Rs 5,955 per barrel in 7,678 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.55 per cent higher at USD 70.19 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.35 per cent lower at USD 73.13 lower per barrel in New York.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery traded lower by Rs 34 or 0.57 per cent at Rs 5,955 per barrel in 7,678 lots.
