Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Crude oil futures declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to low demand. West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude also fell in global markets.
Crude Oil Futures Fall on Weak Demand
New Delhi, Dec 20 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Friday fell Rs 48 to Rs 5,885 per barrel in futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery traded lower by Rs 48 or 0.81 per cent at Rs 5,885 per barrel in 1,852 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.58 per cent lower at USD 68.98 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.56 per cent lower at USD 72.47 lower per barrel in New York.
