Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI
Crude oil prices in India surged on Friday, driven by increased demand in the spot market. Global benchmarks, WTI and Brent, also saw gains.

New Delhi, Jun 28 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Friday increased Rs 62 to Rs 6,866 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery traded higher by Rs 62 or 0.91 per cent at Rs 6,866 per barrel in 5,702 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 0.81 per cent to USD 82.40 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.64 per cent higher at USD 86.90 per barrel in New York.
