Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand | PTI
Crude oil futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange climbed Rs 26 to Rs 6,006 per barrel on Thursday, driven by increased buying amid firm spot demand.

New Delhi, Dec 26 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Thursday climbed Rs 26 to Rs 6,006 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery traded higher Rs 26 or 0.43 per cent at Rs 6,006 per barrel in 8,347 lots.
Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.16 per cent higher at USD 70.21 per barrel while Brent crude was trading 0.18 per cent higher at USD 73.71 per barrel in New York.
