Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday grew Rs 9 to Rs 5,785 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher by Rs 9 or 0.16 per cent at Rs 5,785 per barrel in 2,214 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.15 per cent higher at USD 66.13 per barrel while Brent crude was trading 0.27 per cent higher at USD 69.47 per barrel in New York.
