Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Crude oil futures prices increased due to strong spot demand. December delivery up 1.24% at Rs 5,309 per barrel on MCX.

New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Friday rose Rs 65 to Rs 5,309 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher Rs 65 or 1.24 per cent at Rs 5,309 per barrel in 10,522 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 1.70 per cent higher at USD 59.69 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 1.59 per cent to USD 64.01 per barrel in New York.
