Crude Oil Prices Fall Amid Weak Demand

Crude oil futures eased on Tuesday, falling Rs 6 to Rs 5,790 per barrel due to weak spot market demand. Global crude prices also saw a decline.

New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Tuesday fell Rs 6 to Rs 5,790 per barrel, as participants trimmed their positions tracking weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery declined Rs 6 or 0.1 per cent to Rs 5,790 per barrel in 12,431 lots.
Analysts said the prices were affected following participants offloading their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.54 per cent lower at USD 67.56 per barrel, while Brent Crude fell 0.43 per cent to USD 69.28 per barrel in New York.
