Crude oil futures declined on Friday due to low demand, with prices falling on the MCX and globally. West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude also saw declines.

New Delhi, Feb 23 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.83 per cent to Rs 6,481 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for March delivery fell Rs 54 or 0.83 per cent to Rs 6,481 per barrel with a business volume of 5,353 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.67 per cent lower at USD 78.08 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.60 per cent lower at USD 83.17 per barrel in New York.
