Freo acquires Indialends to reach 5 crore users. EXIM Bank partners with Golomt Bank. Paynearby facilitates Rs 550 cr gold loans.
Mumbai, May 7 (PTI) Freo, a fintech, on Thursday announced the acquisition of Indialends for an undisclosed sum to expand its scale of operations.

The deal brings together Freo's consumer financial platform and Indialends' marketplace and will take the number of people it can serve to 5 crore, as per a statement.

EXIM Bank signs issuing bank agreement with Mongolia's Golomt Bank


* The Export-Import Bank of India on Thursday said it has signed an issuing bank agreement with Mongolia's Golomt Bank for supporting trade transactions.

The agreement under India Exim Bank's Trade Assistance Programme (TAP) was signed on the sidelines of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meetings at Samarkand, Uzbekistan, as per a statement.

Paynearby facilitates Rs 550 cr gold loan disbursals in FY26 from small retail stores

* Amid a surge in gold loans, Paynearby on Thursday said it has facilitated disbursals against the precious commodity worth Rs 550 crore in FY26 from small retail stores.

A bulk of the distribution is from semi-urban and rural regions, it said in a statement, adding that Rs 100 crore was disbursed in March 2026 alone.
