Gadkari Chooses Bus to Cut Fuel Usage in Maharashtra

New Delhi,May 13 (PTI) Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has written to Maharashtra police that, following the Prime Minister's advice to reduce fuel usage, he will be travelling by bus with officers, security personnel, and journalists to review highway projects in Maharashtra.
Gadkari also urged the state government to reduce the number of vehicles in the convoy to 50 per cent of the usual deployment during his tour in Maharashtra.
He is scheduled to inspect Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palakhi Marg projects on May 14 and May 15.
