GNFC reports 88% jump in Q4 net profit to Rs 396 crore. FY26 profit rises to Rs 808 crore. Dividend of Rs 21/share declared.
New Delhi, May 18 (PTI) Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) on Monday reported an 88 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 396 crore for the quarter ended March 2026 on higher income.

Its net profit stood at Rs 211 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income rose to Rs 2,333 crore in the January-March period of 2025-26 fiscal from Rs 2,177 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing.


For the entire FY26, GNFC's net profit increased to Rs 808 crore from Rs 597 crore in the preceding fiscal.

Total income fell to Rs 8,272 crore in FY26 from Rs 8,393 crore in FY25. Total operational expenses also declined to Rs 7,207 crore from Rs 7,603 crore.

The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of Rs 21 per equity share of Rs 10 each for FY2025-26, subject to shareholders' approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

The GNFC, promoted by the Gujarat Government and the Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GSFC), was set up in Bharuch in 1976.
