Gold futures prices fell by Rs 144 today, reaching Rs 97,213 per 10 grams due to muted spot demand. International gold prices saw a slight increase.

New Delhi, Jun 26 (PTI) Gold prices on Thursday fell Rs 144 to Rs 97,213 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery traded lower by Rs 144, or 0.15 per cent, at Rs 97,213 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 13,552 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to muted spot demand.
In the international markets, gold futures rose 0.20 per cent to USD 3,349.90 per ounce in New York.
