Gold Futures Decline to Rs 1,47,310/10g Amid Weak Demand

Gold futures in India dropped to Rs 1,47,310 per 10 grams on July 6, driven by a fall in spot demand. Global prices also saw a decline.

New Delhi, Jul 6 (PTI) Gold prices on Monday dropped by Rs 68 to Rs 1,47,310 per 10 grams in futures trade amid a fall in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, yellow metal contracts for August delivery traded lower by Rs 68, or 0.11 per cent, at Rs 1,47,310 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 416 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in precious metal prices to weaker spot demand.
Globally, gold futures declined by 0.44 per cent to USD 4,158.67 per ounce in New York.
