Gold futures decline to Rs 1,54,464 per 10 grams on MCX due to weak global cues and fall in spot demand. June delivery contracts affected.

New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Gold prices on Wednesday dropped Rs 353 to Rs 1,54,464 per 10 grams in futures trade amid a fall in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for the June delivery traded lower by Rs 353, or 0.23 per cent, at Rs 1,54,464 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,699 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
Globally, gold futures declined by 0.61 per cent to USD 4,813.54 per ounce in New York.
