Gold prices in India declined by Rs 580 today, reaching Rs 97,208 per 10 grams in futures trading. This decrease follows weak global cues and muted spot demand.

New Delhi, Jul 17 (PTI) Gold prices on Thursday declined by Rs 580 to Rs 97,208 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery depreciated Rs 580, or 0.59 per cent, to Rs 97,208 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 10,516 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
In the international markets, gold futures slipped 0.49 per cent to USD 3,330.68 per ounce in New York.
