Gold Futures Surge to Rs 1,00,700/10g

Gold futures jump Rs 1,098 to Rs 1,00,700 per 10 grams on firm spot demand. October contracts rise on MCX. Global Comex futures fall.

New Delhi, Aug 11 (PTI) Gold prices on Monday rose Rs 1,098 to Rs 1,00,700 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 1,098 or 1.08 per cent at Rs 1,00,700 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 15,443 lots.
Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery fell 0.94 per cent to USD 3,365.94 per ounce in New York.
