New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 1,075 to Rs 96,012 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery traded plunged Rs 1,075 or 1.11 per cent at Rs 96,012 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 14,412 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.
In the international markets, gold futures fell 1.25 per cent to USD 3,306.10 per ounce in New York.
