Guar Gum Futures Fall: Low Demand Impacts Prices

Guar gum futures decline on low demand. Prices fell Rs 59 to Rs 10,068/quintal. Weak spot market & ample supplies pressured prices.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday fell Rs 59 to Rs 10,068 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for March delivery declined by Rs 59, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 10,068 per quintal in 54,815 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
