Guar Gum Futures Fall: Low Demand Impacts Prices

Guar gum futures decline on low demand. May delivery falls Rs 53 to Rs 10,713/quintal. Weak spot market & ample supplies pressure prices.
New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday fell Rs 53 to Rs 10,713 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for May delivery declined by Rs 53, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 10,713 per quintal in 56,340 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
