Guar Gum Futures Plunge on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to low demand and ample supplies, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Jan 24 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday fell Rs 29 to Rs 10,586 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for February delivery fell Rs 29 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 10,586 per quintal in 50,770 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
