Guar Gum Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to robust spot demand. Speculators increased their holdings, driving prices up by Rs 228 per quintal.
New Delhi, Sep 25 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 228 to Rs 11,147 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for October delivery traded higher Rs 228 or 2.09 per cent at Rs 11,147 per quintal with an open interest of 40,735 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
