Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Wednesday due to firm spot demand and increased speculative buying. The February contract on NCDEX gained 1.47% to Rs 10,463 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jan 1 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 154 to Rs 10,463 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs 154 or 1.47 per cent at Rs 10,463 per quintal with an open interest of 34,720 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
