Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand

Guar gum futures prices rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to firm demand in the physical market. Traders increased their bets on higher prices.
New Delhi, Sep 27 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday increased Rs 193 to Rs 11,559 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for October delivery traded higher Rs 193 or 1.70 per cent at Rs 11,559 per quintal with an open interest of 36,540 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
