Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand

Guar gum futures prices rose in India on Tuesday, driven by increased demand and speculation. The December contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange traded higher at Rs 10,010 per quintal.
New Delhi, Dec 3 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday increased Rs 9 to Rs 10,010 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 9 or 0.09 per cent at Rs 10,010 per quintal with an open interest of 25,700 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
