Guar seed futures prices fell on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions. The decline was seen in the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).
New Delhi, Aug 22 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 10 to Rs 5,213 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery fell Rs 10 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 5,213 per quintal with an open interest of 55,170 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
