Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supplies

Guar seed prices dropped in futures trading on October 31 due to increased supply from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Oct 31 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined by Rs 3 to Rs 5,338 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery fell Rs 3 or 0.06 per cent to Rs 5,338 per quintal with an open interest of 22,270 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
