Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supplies
Guar seed prices fell in futures trading on Tuesday due to ample supplies. The December contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange declined to Rs 5,236 per quintal.
New Delhi, Nov 5 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 24 to Rs 5,236 per quintal in the futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery fell Rs 24 or 0.46 per cent to Rs 5,236 per quintal with an open interest of 33,130 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
