Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply - PTI
Guar seed futures prices fell on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Feb 22 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 20 to Rs 5,448 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 20, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 5,448 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 72,805 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
