Guar seed futures prices fell on Wednesday due to increased supply from producing regions. The November contract on the NCDEX closed at Rs 5,522 per quintal.
New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday dropped Rs 10 to Rs 5,522 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed for November delivery fell Rs 10 or 0.18 per cent to Rs 5,522 per quintal with an open interest of 46,185 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
