Guar Seed Futures Decline on Increased Supply

Guar seed futures prices dropped on Tuesday due to ample supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) saw a decline in September contracts.
New Delhi, Aug 20 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 14 to Rs 5,309 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery fell Rs 14 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 5,309 per quintal with an open interest of 54,425 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
