Guar seed prices declined in futures trade on Friday due to ample supplies from growing regions. July contracts fell Rs 26 to Rs 5,166 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jun 13 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 26 to Rs 5,166 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery fell Rs 26, or 0.50 per cent, to Rs 5,166 per quintal with an open interest of 51,195 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
