Guar Seed Futures Fall Amid Ample Supplies

Guar seed futures prices declined by Rs 16 to Rs 5,339 per quintal due to ample supplies in the market. National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) saw a 0.30% decrease in August contracts.
New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 16 to Rs 5,339 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery fell Rs 16 or 0.30 per cent to Rs 5,339 per quintal with an open interest of 43,220 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
