Guar Seed Futures Fall on Ample Supplies
Guar seed futures prices declined on Monday due to ample supplies from growing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 71 to Rs 5,423 per quintal in the futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery fell Rs 71 or 1.31 per cent to Rs 5,423 per quintal with an open interest of 58,405 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
