Guar Seed Futures Fall: Supply Pressure

Guar seed futures decline on ample supplies. June contracts fall Rs 24 to Rs 5,768/quintal on NCDEX. Marketmen cite increasing supplies.
New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 24 to Rs 5,768 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery fell Rs 24, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 5,768 per quintal with an open interest of 61,640 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
