Guar seed futures prices fell by Rs 24 to Rs 5,991 per quintal on NCDEX for July delivery. Ample supplies from growing regions led to the price drop.

New Delhi, Jun 8 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday slipped by Rs 24 to Rs 5,991 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery fell by Rs 24, or 0.40 per cent, to Rs 5,991 per quintal with an open interest of 51,585 lots.

Marketmen attributed the fall in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
