Guar seed futures prices dropped by Rs 129 to Rs 6,039 per quintal on NCDEX for August delivery. Ample supplies from growing regions led to the decline.

New Delhi, Jul 21 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday slipped Rs 129 to Rs 6,039 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery fell by Rs 129, or 2.09 per cent, to Rs 6,039 per quintal with an open interest of 54,675 lots.

Marketmen attributed the fall in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
