New Delhi, Apr 17 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday rose by Rs 46 to Rs 5,724 per quintal in futures trade amid higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery climbed Rs 46, or 0.80 per cent, to Rs 5,724 per quintal with an open interest of 64,920 lots.
Marketmen said higher bets by investors, despite a fall in spot prices, supported guar seed prices in futures trade.
