New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 24 to Rs 5,420 per quintal in futures trade amid higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery climbed by Rs 24 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 5,420 per quintal with an open interest of 62,470 lots.
Marketmen said higher bets by investors despite a fall in spot prices supported guar seed prices in futures trade. PTI DR ANU
