Guar seed futures prices increased on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to strong spot market demand and limited supply.
New Delhi, Nov 13 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 16 to Rs 5,167 per quintal in the futures trade after traders widened their positions amid a firm trend in spot markets.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery increased Rs 16 or 0.31 per cent to Rs 5,167 per quintal with an open interest of 51,395 lots.

According to marketmen, a firm trend in spot markets due to thin supplies from growing belts supported guar futures prices.
