IHCL Gateway Hotel to Open in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh

IHCL expands its presence in Northeast India with a new 70-key Gateway hotel in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh. Partnership with Phurpa Tsering announced.
Mumbai, Apr 16 (PTI) Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) on Thursday announced the signing of a 70-key greenfeild Gateway hotel in Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh.
"Supported by its natural landscape and improving accessibility, Dirang is witnessing growing demand from both leisure travellers and adventure enthusiasts. The signing of Gateway Dirang reflects IHCL's focus on pioneering new and emerging destinations and we are delighted to partner with Phurpa Tsering for this project," IHCL Executive Vice President 'Â Real Estate and Development, Suma Venkatesh said in a statement.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 21 hotels in the North East, including 12 under development.

Industry lobby grouping Assocham on Thursday announced the appointment of Milind Hardikar as the chairman of its Maharashtra state council.
He is currently associated with the Welspun group as its director for group strategic initiatives, as per an official statement.
