Mumbai, May 5 (PTI) IHG Hotels & Resorts on Tuesday announced the signing of a franchise agreement with United Hospitality Management for the 117-key Garner Jagdalpur, marking the brand's entry into Chhattisgarh.

The 117-key Garner Jagdalpur in the Bastar region will be developed by Freedom Hospitality and managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM), one of IHG's trusted third-party management companies in India, the global hospitality company said in a statement.

"Garner's efficient and flexible model combined with UHM's strong local operational expertise, enables us to partner with owners to unlock this potential while delivering long-term value," IHG Hotels & Resorts Managing Director, South West Asia, Sudeep Jain said.

MakeMyTrip Foundation joins hands with DTTDC to support Dilli Haat-INA



MakeMyTrip Foundation, the social impact arm of MakeMyTrip, on Tuesday said it has signed an agreement with the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) to support the enhancement of Dilli Haat - INA.



Through this partnership, MakeMyTrip Foundation will work alongside DTTDC on a set of enhancements designed to make the visitor experience as memorable as the crafts themselves, the company said in a statement.

KP Group installs 4.2 MW wind turbine generator at Gujarat project site

KP Group on Tuesday said it has installed 4.2 MW Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) at a project site in Gujarat.

The WTG is designed to maximise energy capture in low-to-medium wind regimes, the company said in an exchange filing.

Gujarat-based KP Group is into hybrid renewable energy space besides battery energy storage system (BESS).
